Independence and freedom of journalism

On June 13, 2023, the Freedom Education Institute together with the Freedom Academic Association invited to the panel discussion "Independence and Freedom of Austrian Journalism" at Palais Palffy in Vienna.

The panel discussion was opened by the President of the Freedom Education Institute NAbg. MMMag. Dr. Axel Kassegger. The moderation took over DI Wolfgang Kastenhofer, Obmann of the liberty academics federation. Participants in the discussion were Dr. Walter Hämmerle, former editor-in-chief of the Wiener Zeitung, Richard Schmitt, editor-in-chief of the online medium "Exxpress" and Heinz Lederer, member of the ORF foundation board.
