Max Otte is the founder of the Institute for Wealth Development and a fund manager. In 2006 he wrote the bestseller "The Crash is Coming" with over 500,000 copies sold. He earned his doctorate at Princeton University and has taught at Boston University, Worms University of Applied Sciences, and Karl Franzens University in Graz. Cicero magazine named him Rising Star of the Year among Germany's intellectuals in 2019.
