Start of a new FBI Workshop Series
What is a blackout? What are the causes of a large-scale and prolonged power blackout? How can one prepare and what measures are to be taken in the event of a blackout? These and many other questions were explored at a workshop held by the Educational Institute of the Freedom Party of Austria in Altlengbach on April 30, 2022.
Workshop leader Dietmar Heuritsch explained to around 25 participants how to behave in the event of a prolonged power outage and what precautionary measures can already be taken now. The participants were actively involved and discussed and worked out measures and rules of conduct in small groups, which were then presented.
The workshop and the thematization of the danger of a blackout as a realistic threat scenario for which one can prepare oneself met with lively interest among the participants.
