Trust – Self-confidence

On 8 November 2025, the seminar ‘Trust – Self-confidence for Freedom Party officials in municipalities, cities and rural areas’ took place in the district of Deutschlandsberg. Under the direction of former Member of the National Council Josef A. Riemer (retired), participants received a thorough introduction to key aspects of political personality development.

The seminar focused on the topics of personality, communication and motivation, which the trainer systematically explained in terms of their significance for political work, placing particular emphasis on building and strengthening self-confidence. The seminar devoted considerable attention to the fact that young elected representatives in particular often face the challenge of navigating political decision-making and communication situations with confidence. Using practical examples and immediately actionable recommendations, Riemer showed how political actors can develop and consolidate their personal confidence. The methods taught were aimed at establishing self-confidence as a fundamental resource that is of central importance for both a convincing public presence and effective political work.

In addition, selected provisions of the Styrian Municipal Code were discussed.
