The Young Academy outdoor seminar
... and the ability to work together on solutions
From 22 to 23 June 2018, graduates of the Young Academy from all federal states met at an outdoor seminar in Gosau for team-building activities and to foster contacts in an exciting and relaxed atmosphere.
On Friday, white-water rafting was on the agenda, while in the evening there was a relaxed exchange of ideas with course director Dietmar Heuritsch.
On the Saturday the participants went on a mountain bike tour of the alpine pasture and had a snack at a dairymaid's house. Afterwards they went to canyoning, a challenge that all the participants mastered brilliantly.
“It was nice to see how the young people helped each other to overcome obstacles and how they could rely on each other in difficult situations. Our joint activities are intended not only to strengthen the personality and character of the individual, but also the ability to work together on solutions and master difficult situations. That’s exactly what distinguishes our young politicians”, says course director Dietmar Heuritsch.
