The Founding of the FPÖ and its History up to 1980

On 22 October 2019, the FPÖ Political Academy and the Liberaler Klub hosted a talk by university professor Dr. Lothar Höbelt on the topic of “The Founding of the FPÖ and its History up to 1980”.

Lothar Höbelt, university professor for contemporary Austrian history, illuminated the historical relationships and conditions that led to the founding of the FPÖ and the development of the party up to the year 1980, the start of the single-party government under Bruno Kreisky.
