Young Academy 2024: Module II in Anthering
From 26-27 April 2024 the second module of the Young Academy, class of 2024 took place in Anthering. Among the thematic blocks were:
· Rhetoric - Speeches in everyday political life: in municipal council meetings, at political gatherings, at party events, etc.
· Preparing and planning a speech
· Goal definition: What do I want my speech to achieve?
· Elements and structure of a speech
· Introduction & conclusion: The most important phases of any speech
· Spontaneous speech situations: Words of welcome and brief impromptu speeches
· Practical tips
· Video training with analysis and personal feedback
The seminar weekend concluded with an exciting presentation on artificial intelligence (AI) including a discussion of its benefits and risks as well as a fireside chat with the chairman of the FPÖ grouping in the Federal Chamber, Christoph Steiner.
