Outdoor Module of the Young Academy
Relying on each other and mastering unfamiliar situations
On 28 and 29 June 2019, participants and graduates of the Young Academy from
different years gathered together for this year’s outdoor module in beautiful Gosau.
Under the motto of “relying on each other and mastering unfamiliar situations”, the event
participants traversed a fixed rope route together. The participants were also challenged
by an abseil exercise from a height of 50 meters, which was completed successfully by
all.
The following day was spent on a mountain bike tour and an exploration of Koppenbrüller
cave – away from the usual tourist paths.
The participants were all in agreement: “It was a great weekend, and we all learned a lot
about ourselves. The team of Young Academy graduates bonded well, and we trained
together in how to master challenging situations and expand our personal comfort zone.
We are already looking forward to Gosau 2020”.
