Municipal Code 1 & Municipal Budget 1
Seminar in Weiz
On 8 November, the seminar ‘Municipal Code 1 & Municipal Budget 1’ took place in Weiz with trainer BR Peter Samt. The first part of the seminar covered the tasks of the municipality, its organs and powers, rights and obligations, as well as the scope of activity of municipal councils and the minutes of negotiations.
The trainer then moved on to the section on ‘Municipal Budget 1’, covering the audit mandate and audit plan, the limits of the audit and the legal basis, as well as the budget estimate and the final accounts.
This was a seminar series with a dense content, in which BR Peter Samt also addressed various questions and comments and compared the content with individual incidents involving politically active officials.
