Integration – Reality or Utopia?

At the end of October, the FPÖ Education Institute and the Liberal Club hosted the lecture “Integration – Reality or Utopia?” by Petra Paulsen, followed by a discussion. 

Petra Paulsen is a teacher in Hamburg and author of the Spiegel bestseller “Deutschland außer Rand und Band: Zwischen Werteverfall, Political (In)Correctness und illegaler Migration” [Germany out of control: Caught between declining values, political (in)correctness and illegal immigration]. Not only is Paulsen the unmistakable voice of critical debate on the issue of integration in Germany, in August 2016 she also wrote an open letter to Chancellor Angela Merkel in which she criticised the German government’s refugee policy. Paulsen also took part in the ZDF talk show “Wie geht's Deutschland” during the 2017 federal elections, and in February 2018 published her first work “Deutschland außer Rand und Band: Zwischen Werteverfall, Political (In)Correctness und illegaler Migration”, which placed high on the Spiegel bestseller list just two weeks after its publication.
