Fundamental Spatial Planning Regulations

On the morning of October 11, the seminar “Spatial Planning in Styria – Overview of Fundamental Spatial Planning Regulations at the Regional and Local Levels” took place in Rottenmann.
Seminar leader Dipl.-Ing. Stefan Battyán provided a comprehensive overview of regional planning requirements - such as regional development programmes and programmes for renewable energy development - as well as key instruments of local spatial planning, including zoning and development plans. Current updates and amendments in the field of local spatial planning were also discussed.

The seminar offered participants a practice-oriented introduction to the main planning requirements of the province and to the ordinances to be adopted by municipal councils. Due to its practical relevance and academic depth, the event made a valuable contribution to the professional qualification of municipal councillors.
