General Data Protection Regulation

On 25 May 2018, the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation and the 2018 Datenschutz-Anpassungsgesetz (Austrian Data Protection Amendment Act) entered into force. In this training session, held in Neckenmarkt on 26 June 2018, participants were again brought up to speed on the new legal situation with the help of practical examples. The primary focus was on the use of newsletters, data mining, social media and video surveillance.
