Municipal law – inter-municipal issues

On 9 November 2025, the seminar ‘Municipal law in relation to inter-municipal issues’ took place in Bad Schwanberg, led by BR President Peter Samt. The focus was not only on the essential fundamentals of municipal law, but also on selected legal matters that are of particular importance for local work. These include, in particular, the Association Organisation Act and current developments in the field of energy communities.

At the end of the seminar, Peter Samt addressed the participants' diverse questions in detail, providing precise and practical answers. The event thus offered a compact yet substantial overview of the legal framework that may be relevant for those involved in local politics in their future practice.
