Foreign, development, agricultural and environmental policy

From 3-4 July 2020 the second module of the Europe Academy took place in Vienna under the direction of Dietmar Holzfeind.

Under the title "Foreign, development, agricultural and environmental policy" the participants were introduced to a variety of topics by international speakers. Particular attention was paid to EU foreign policy with a focus on development aid.

With regard to agricultural policy, the fundamentals and outlook for the upcoming reform were analysed. EU environmental policy was dealt with in a lecture on the “Green Deal” given by a staff member of the European Parliament.

The Corona crisis was also discussed in connection with the European Union.
