Event for International Women's Day 2025
"Woman. Real. Strong."
In front of over 100 guests, the event organized by the FBI and the Freedom Party parliamentary group was dedicated to the topic: "Previous women's policy - failures and wrong turns?" Women's policy in recent decades has changed a lot - but where is it really leading?
At the start of the event, which was moderated by MP Lisa Gubik-Schuch, FPÖ women's spokesperson Rosa Ecker and President of the National Council Dr. Walter Rosenkranz underlined in their introductory words the need for a women's policy that is based on reality instead of following ideological errors.
In her impressive lecture, Birgit Kelle analyzed the effects of gender mainstreaming and asked the crucial question: Is this really about equality or is there a far-reaching social re-education behind it? She made it clear that the abolition of biological differences is not a form of diversity, but a restriction.
"Anyone who sees the natural binary gender system as a threat instead of recognizing the uniqueness of men and women is distancing themselves from reality," said Kelle.
Her lecture clearly showed why a truly practice-oriented women's policy has nothing to do with gender ideology and why it is time to focus a future-oriented women's policy on the essentials again.
