The future of payment systems in Europe
On May 12, 2023, the seminar "EU monetary policy - a presentation on the FED, ECB & the digital euro and the future of payment systems in Europe " took place at the regional office of the FPÖ Styria. The employee of the EU Parliament and trainer Xavier Everaert understands it with simple words to convey complex content to the participants and to illustrate with everyday examples. In his presentation, he referred to the history of money, the importance of a gold-linked currency or FIAT money, the digital euro, inflation and the various asset classes that seem to make sense in times of record inflation. At the end of the seminar, Xavier Everaert took enough time to answer personal questions of the participants.
